August 2020 – Dr. Bapiste Lacoste exciting new study published. Congratulations to Dr. Baptisite Lacoste on the recent publication in Nature Neuroscience – in part, funded by a grant from the Foundation. Dr. Lacoste’s team has undertaken the first-ever in-depth study of vasculature in the autistic brain. The study lays out several lines of novel evidence that strongly implicate defects in endothelial cells — the lining of blood vessels — in autism.
